Performance
 Well
you're all wondering - does this thing really work? The answer fortunately
is YES it does work. This is definitely something that isn't really all
that easy to do, as you have to crank the thing 2 full minutes (count
to 120 and realize how long that can be for moving your arm in a short
circle) to get a 6 minute phone call in, but if you're in dire emergency,
it can be well worth the physical price.
Value and Usefulness
Hey for $24.95 there's no doubt this is a must by for camping enthusiasts
who are out in the wilderness for weeks on end (see our resident camper
Ben Kierulff for example). For you paranoid parents out there, this gives
you yet another tool to help keep the kids safe, or at least make them
not have the excuse that they didn't call because the phone died. All
in all a very useful and practical thing to own.
Overall Impressions
At NextGen Electronics, we're gluttons for stuff like the SideWinder phone
charger - it's a neat device that you can show off to your friends and
have them whisper in awe, "Coooolllll!!!!!!!". This is definitely
a cool thing to own and extremely practical too. It comes highly recommended
for those who go camping, traveling, or are just worried about cell phone
outage. A well designed, inexpensive, and useful gadget!
